Fetish Australia has announced it will be once again joining the line up of floats that take to the streets during the world-renowned Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade on the 5th of March, 2022.
The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras has run each year since 1978, beginning on the second Thursday of each February and ending on the first Sunday of each March. This year, the festival will run 18th February to 6th of March and will once again be host to the largest LGBTIQA+ celebration in the Southern Hemisphere - featuring a myriad of parties, workshops, community events and, of course, it's iconic parade.
For their 2022 float, Fetish Australia has chosen the theme #TheKinksThatBindUs - being an expression of welcomeness and diversity that exists within all parts of the fetish and kink communities, both within Australia and beyond.
Fetish Australia is a community group that is headed by leaders within various parts of the Australian kink and fetish community - being comprised of members hailing from all corners of the kinky spectrum; from rope to rubber to leather and more. Each year the group comes together to create a float for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras to both enhance visibility and create further awareness and acceptance for alternative lifestyles.
