Melbourne Rubber - the Australian social group dedicated to all things shiny - returns with their annual SLICK celebration to be held via virtual platforms from Friday September 3rd to Sunday September 12th.
The uncertainty of COVID-19 related lockdowns in Melbourne and regional Victoria over the past 8 months has seen the SLICK festival be postponed and rescheduled several times - though now is set to go ahead held on various digital platforms for any and all interested and able to join the shiny fun.
Whilst this new format does not allow for the previously scheduled workshops, networking and party events that were scheduled prior to the current lockdown in Melbourne, the SLICK festival will still be going ahead with it's mainstay event: the Melbourne Rubberman competition. The Melbourne Rubberman competition has been a large part of the Australian BDSM community since its inception in 2016, and has since grown with the Melbourne Rubber group to be recognised as a highly respected title within the international alternative lifestyle community.
This year's SLICK celebration will kick off with an Instagram live with previous Melbourne Rubberman competition winners on Friday 3rd September, with the following weekend of Thursday 9th September through to Sunday 12th September being dedicated to the 2021 Melbourne Rubberman competition.
